Iran ranks among world’s top 10 countries in infertility treatment
Advanced reproductive technologies, strong scientific capacity and affordable care position Iran as a global destination for fertility treatment
Iran has secured a place among the world’s top ten countries in the treatment of infertility, reflecting its advanced medical expertise, broad access to assisted reproductive technologies, as reported by Pars Today, a partner of TV BRICS.
According to the head of Iran’s Scientific Association for Infertility and Reproductive Health, the country now operates at a highly competitive global level in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. All major assisted reproductive techniques used in leading medical systems worldwide are currently available across Iran.
The official noted that Iran’s standing is evident not only in scientific output and clinical capability, but also in the increasing interest shown by foreign patients seeking fertility treatment. Over the past decade, Iran has been repeatedly cited as an attractive destination due to the combination of experienced specialists, strong clinical outcomes, significantly lower treatment costs and the absence of long waiting lists.
Iran’s fertility treatment sector has also benefited from domestic production of many essential medical materials, reducing dependence on imports and ensuring continuity of care, as reported by the source.
