UAE reviews advanced technologies that will help in construction of zero-emission skyscrapers

It focuses on the role of high-rise buildings in achieving zero emissions

The fourth dialogue session of the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) was held in Dubai to discuss the importance of high-rise buildings in the context of achieving zero emissions.

The event looked at advanced technologies that will help in the construction of zero-emission skyscrapers, as well as the challenges of implementing solutions to reduce energy consumption in such buildings and their economic aspects.

With the rapid development of the urban landscape and the proliferation of skyscrapers, governments and companies are actively working to reduce emissions. This is reported by Emirates News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

Habiba Al Marashi, Chairperson and co-founder of Emirates Environmental Group, said that an important highlight of the session was the discussion of challenges and solutions related to high-rise construction and sustainable development.

She emphasised that buildings that meet modern standards of comfort and sustainability must be carbon neutral in all phases of their existence.
