Mrs World 2025 Tshego Gaelae came to Moscow to celebrate her birthday. An official reception was held in her honour at the Embassy of South Africa.

Tshego became the first representative of the African continent to win the title of winner of an international beauty contest for married women. In South Africa, she is known as a human rights activist. She is a lawyer by training, runs her own law firm, and together with her colleagues and partners helps children in difficult life situations by purchasing and donating school shoes and clothes.

She inspires women from all over the world to take an active part in public life by her example and activities. In Moscow she met with Russian winners of beauty contests, shared her experience and advice. The African guest and her husband Tshepo Leatile Gaelae learnt about Russian culture through traditional Russian dishes: salads, pickles, and soups. After lunch, Tsego and her husband took a walk in the centre of the Russian capital, Muscovites watched the African beauty with admiration. Mrs Mira said of the warm welcome.

In Moscow, Tshego Gaelae was invited to take part in a beauty contest among the BRICS countries. It is planned that it will be held in 2025 in Kazan. The winners of the national stages of the contest will take part in the competition.
