BRICS Motor Rally to be held in Russia

From 9 to 15 August 2025, the first BRICS motor rally will take place along the route Yekaterinburg – Moscow. The event is supported by the BRICS Business Council, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. TV BRICS is the event’s international media partner.

The rally is timed to coincide with the launch of traffic on the Dyurtyuli-Achit section of the new M-12 Vostok motorway to Yekaterinburg, the construction of which will be completed in 2025. The project aims to develop international transport cooperation and promote car tourism.

Participants of the rally will include representatives of construction, logistics, and financial companies from BRICS countries and invited states. They will become acquainted with Russia’s road infrastructure and the culture of the eight regions along the route. Meetings with representatives of regional authorities are also planned.

Delegations from 15 countries are expected to participate, including Brazil, Ethiopia, the UAE, India, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Belarus, Egypt, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Iran, Peru, Nigeria, and Chile. Russian university students will also join the rally. A total of 33 companies have confirmed their participation.

The route of the rally is divided into two stages. The first – the "youth" stage – will run from Yekaterinburg to Kazan. It will involve international students studying at Russian universities. The stage will conclude in Kazan, where the students will symbolically hand over the baton to representatives of the business community.

The Kazan – Moscow stage will focus on the business agenda. It will feature top managers of companies operating in the construction, infrastructure, logistics, and oil and gas sectors.

The final point of the route will be Moscow. A closing ceremony, awards presentation, and banquet will be held at VDNKH.
