Three Chinese astronauts carry out mission on Tiangong Space Station
The Chinese Tiangong Space Station has been the site of several equipment maintenance projects and scientific experiments conducted by the Shenzhou-18 mission crew over the past month. This is reported by CCTV+, a partner of TV BRICS.
On April 25, three Chinese astronauts were dispatched for a six-month assignment to the Tiangong Space Station.
The astronauts reportedly changed the samples within the experimental chamber, serviced the container-free experimental materials cabinet's shaft mechanism, changed the burner, eliminated exhaust fumes, produced vacuum conditions, and fitted a new conversion cable for the electromagnetic combustion valve in the Mengtian laboratory module.
The team also finished testing and assembling the equipment needed for the radiation experiment.
The source claims that in the following phase, scientists will examine the effects of space on the growth, development, and behaviour of vertebrates as well as the circulation of substances in confined space ecosystems by utilising returned water samples, fish eggs, and other samples in addition to video recordings of fish in space.
