All interviews of the project will be published in six languages

Leading experts from various countries will comment on the events and outcomes of the 17th BRICS Summit, to be held on 6–7 July 2025 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), for the TV BRICS International Media Network. The special annual project " BRICS & G20" will feature representatives of government agencies and ministries, public figures, academics, diplomats, and journalists from Brazil, Russia, India, China, Malaysia, and Egypt.

All interviews in the "BRICS & G20" project will be published in six languages: Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. The content will be released on the TV BRICS portal and TV channel and distributed through the media network, which unites more than 100 media outlets from 28 countries. TV BRICS currently reaches an audience in 80 countries.

“The 'BRICS & G20' project, launched in 2023, is aimed at both a wide audience and professional journalists covering international cooperation and diplomacy. TV BRICS involves experts and opinion leaders from different countries in BRICS & G20 to highlight in-depth national expertise and unique socio-political experiences and to make the BRICS media space meaningful, objective, and engaging. The daily activities of TV BRICS focus on raising global awareness of BRICS, its importance, and its prospects. To achieve this, we connect professional and business communities from different countries through media communications, showcase national characteristics, and provide a platform for expressing opinions and perspectives,” said Ksenia Komissarova, Editor-in-Chief of TV BRICS.

In the lead-up to and during the 17th BRICS Summit, the "BRICS & G20" project will feature contributions from the Pavel Knyazev, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Russian Sous Sherpa in BRICS; Aleksander Ionov, Member of the Council for Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee; Maksim Dankin, General Director of the Project Office for Arctic Development (Russia); Danial Rahman, CEO of the Asian Strategy and Leadership Incorporated (ASLI) (Malaysia); Cai Tongjuan, Director of the Macroeconomic Research Department at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China; and Lier Pires Ferreira, Researcher at the BRICS Studies Centre at Fluminense Federal University (Brazil).

According to Lier Pires Ferreira, the BRICS Summit will focus on defending multilateralism and reforming the global governance system. One of the top priorities on the economic agenda will be the development of mutual trade in national currencies. Discussions on sustainable development and energy integration are also expected.

TV BRICS Editor-in-Chief Ksenia Komissarova also noted that a media network film crew will be working on-site at the BRICS Summit venue in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to news coverage, the TV broadcast will feature the best films and programmes from international partners. Viewers of TV BRICS will be able to watch projects on Chinese cuisine, Indian traditions, tourist attractions in Mozambique, agriculture in Brazil, small towns, and scientific achievements in Russia.
