TV BRICS film "Magadan Silver" in the competition programme of the International Film Festival "Golden Tower"

The documentary film produced by TV BRICS "Magadan Silver" was included in the competition programme of the IX International Film Festival "Golden Tower". In 2023 the festival takes place from 24 to 29 October in Ingushetia, in the cities of Magas, Sunzha, Malgobek, Nestorovskaya, Karabulak.

The Magadan region is home to the largest silver deposit in Russia and the third largest in the world. The documentary produced by TV BRICS is about people who work in this region on a rotational basis. The film will be shown on 28 October at 10:00 in the cinema "Druzhba" (Nazran); in the State Budget Institution "Palace of Culture" (Sunzha); in the State Budget Institution "Centre for Cultural Development" (Magas).

The competition programme also included films by directors from BRICS countries: "Blessing" by Guilherme Reis (Brazil); "Water" by Diya Mary Shaju (India); "Poetic Lishui" by Chen Wei (China); "Rasta the Artist" by Odwa Kolwein (South Africa). The films will be available for viewing on 28 October at 10:30 in the cinema "Druzhba" (Nazran); in the State Budget Institution "Palace of Culture" (Sunzha); in the State Budget Institution "Centre for Cultural Development" (Magas).

IX International Film Festival "Golden Tower" has been held annually since 2014. The festival aims to develop creative ties both between filmmakers and audiences, and within the film community in Russia and other countries; to strengthen the educational function of documentary and animated films and promote them to interested viewers.

The jury of the IX International Film Festival "Golden Tower" includes honoured artists of Russia and Ingushetia, directors, producers and people's artists.
