This year marks the 30th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Brazil, and next year the two countries will celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
Rui Costa, Chief of Staff to the Brazilian President, said President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva values relations with China and hopes to significantly strengthen the partnership between the two countries, as reported by CCTV+, a partner of TV BRICS.
"The President is very pleased with the good relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping. After his visit to China, he called for strengthening friendship with the PRC. We can cooperate in many areas including technology, clean energy and infrastructure development," said Rui Costa.
