China's core AI industry to reach about US$79,92 billion this year
Artificial intelligence (AI), has played an important role in Chinese electronics exporters' exploration of overseas markets
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in the first quarter, exports of electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries and photovoltaic products, totalled 264,69 billion yuan (about 36.575 billion U.S. dollars), up 66,9 per cent, and its share of Chinese exports rose 1,7 per cent to 4,7 per cent. This is reported by CCTV+, a partner of TV BRICS.
As the electronics industry develops, Chinese companies are using artificial intelligence technology to optimise production processes, improve product quality and compete in the global market.
According to a report by the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the China Information Industry Development Centre, the size of China's core AI industry will reach 578.4 billion yuan (about 79,92 billion U.S. dollars) in 2023, with a growth rate of 13,9 percent. The adoption rate of generative AI in enterprises in China has reached 15 per cent, and the market size is about 14,4 trillion yuan.
Zhang Shenhao, an official with Shenzhen Customs, said high-tech has boosted exports in the region's economic zone.
The growing AI industry in China is enabling enterprises in the country to adopt relevant technologies.
