In his welcome address, the Minister noted the long history of successful co-operation between India and Russia and also highlighted promising areas of bilateral partnership.

"We are united by the common goal of building the most modern infrastructure, creating a safe and comfortable urban environment. One of the most promising areas of our co-operation is undoubtedly information technology and digital economy. The participants of the meetings discussed the possibilities of holding joint Moscow-India cultural, humanitarian and business events in 2024.

At the exhibition exposition of the City of Moscow, the partners from India were presented with information and high-tech solutions of the Russian capital, as well as successful experience in the implementation of the Smart City project, including an intelligent transport system, online provision of public services, the Moscow e-School platform and the use of artificial intelligence.
