India has strengthened its position as one of the world's fastest-growing economies, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the country's expanding global standing across agriculture, manufacturing and telecommunications, as reported by IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.

Modi said India is now the world's largest producer of milk, the second-largest manufacturer of mobile phones and the second-largest telecommunications market.

He also noted that the country has become the world's third-largest automobile market, reflecting the rapid expansion of its industrial and consumer sectors. According to him, these achievements demonstrate India's sustained economic transformation despite ongoing global uncertainty.

The Prime Minister also stressed that the country's development has been driven by long-term reforms, growing manufacturing capacity and expanding domestic demand, which have strengthened its position in global value chains.
