The ninth annual meeting of the New Development Bank to be held in Cape Town
The theme of the meeting will be Investing in a Sustainable Future
The New Development Bank (NDB) is holding its ninth annual meeting in Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, from August 29 to 31, 2024.
The theme of the meeting is “Investing in a Sustainable Future." The NDB Gathering is an important event for developing countries to discuss key sustainability issues and attract investment in green projects.
The event brings together representatives from governments, the private sector, civil society, and other development institutions to discuss ways to scale up financing for sustainable projects in developing countries.
NDB member countries' finance ministers will speak at the opening ceremony.
Representatives of media and civil society organisations will also participate in the gathering.
A media briefing will be held on Saturday, August 31 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
