The event, which will take place on November 26 and 27, 2024, is part of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Security Week
The World Summit on Food Security aims to bring together experts from different countries to discuss ways to build a sustainable global food system and fight hunger. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
The meeting will bring together world-leading experts, public and private sector representatives, and civil society leaders to discuss innovative solutions to enhance global food security.
The UAE aims to cement its position as a platform for dialogue, discussion, and implementation of global food security initiatives.
The National Food Security Strategy aims to make the country a leader in the Global Food Security Index by 2051. This goal is to be achieved through the development of an integrated national system that will be based on sustainable food production using advanced technologies, the development of local production, global partnerships to diversify food sources, and other means.
