Vietnam and China strengthen higher education collaboration in digital era
The parties signed a student exchange agreement
Vietnam and China have joined forces to explore new opportunities and address challenges in higher education. This is reported by Vietnam News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
One of the key outcomes of the cooperation initiative was the discussion on establishing a joint AI research centre. This project aims to bring together universities, businesses, and leading global partners. Experts believe that the research centre is expected to drive innovation and technological advancements in AI applications across multiple disciplines.
Further strengthening ties, the two sides signed a student exchange agreement, building on a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established in August 2024. Under this programme, students will benefit from tuition-free exchanges, full credit recognition, and extensive support services, including accommodation, healthcare, and language training.
The initiative is designed to offer a dynamic and multicultural learning experience, fostering international collaboration and career development.
Looking ahead, both countries plan to introduce executive management training courses tailored for Vietnamese business leaders and government officials, the source claims. Additionally, collaborative research will expand into high-tech fields such as AI, information technology, and advanced materials.
