Cuba and India agree to increase cooperation in the audiovisual sector
Cuba and India's intention to strengthen cooperation in the video games, film and audiovisual industries was voiced at the GAFX 2024 conference.
At the event, held in the southwestern Indian state of Karnataka, Abel Aballe, Charge d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy, spoke about the island's development in the area and also highlighted existing vectors for expanding trade ties, especially with regard to the Latin American and Caribbean market.
Invited as a panellist, Abel Aballe announced the intention to sign a memorandum of understanding with the University of Computer Science (UCI) of Cuba.
The diplomat said that the conference reflected the South Asian country's interest in strengthening ties with Cuba on these issues. It is about close integration between the film and audiovisual industries of the two states with the aim of making joint films in the Caribbean.
The Charge d'Affaires of Cuba in India invited those present to take part in the main events in Cuba in this area. He mentioned the 19th International Informatics Fair, which will be held from 18 to 22 March in Havana. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
