The importance of strengthening audit and supervision through information technology and establishing a reliable long-term monitoring mechanism is emphasised

China plans to significantly expand the use of information technology (IT) in public hospitals by introducing integrated information management and operation platforms by the end of 2027.

Chinese health authorities stress the need to improve, standardise and digitalise internal processes in public healthcare institutions to achieve effective management and qualitative growth of the industry.

To achieve these goals, steps will be taken to increase the use of modern IT tools such as artificial intelligence, big data and cloud computing. This is reported by CGTN, a partner of TV BRICS.
