Saudi Arabia participates in the Red Sea Coral Reef Forum to protect coral reefs

The Kingdom has an opportunity to lead in protecting the Red Sea

Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its determination to protect coral reefs and the marine environment by participating in the Red Sea Coral Reef Forum. The event coincides with the 38th meeting of the International Coral Reef Initiative, which brings together experts, scientists, policymakers, students, and sea lovers from around the world. This is reported by Arab News.

The forum is part of ongoing efforts to conserve the marine environment, address Red Sea coral reefs, and develop effective strategies to protect them. The forum also aims to establish joint projects to ensure environmental sustainability and promote the blue economy.

Experts believe that Saudi Arabia has the opportunity to lead the way in protecting the Red Sea by becoming a global example in marine conservation.

The main message of the forum was that the Red Sea has great potential and is an important source of biodiversity and livelihood for many people.
