Iran's production of mining and road construction equipment increases by 100 per cent this year
Iran's deputy minister for heavy machinery and equipment industries Mohammad Mousavi said production of tractors has increased by 37 per cent compared to last year.
Referring to the machinery modernisation plan, he said: "In the field of mining and road construction equipment, we have 15,000 worn-out machines. Thanks to the efforts of the private sector, 10 Iranian companies have achieved a 100 per cent increase in production this year compared to the previous year." This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
According to Mousavi, road construction and mining equipment will be upgraded in the next three years.
At the upcoming exclusive Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) exhibition, Iran's heavy machinery manufacturers will be able to sign export deals with other countries.
