South Africa to host an international jazz festival again in 2024

The suspension was caused by the Covid-19 pandemic

Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF), which has been a key event in South Africa's cultural life for two decades, is known not only for its world-class musical performances but also for its significant impact on the economy of the Western Cape region.

Since its inception in 2000, it has attracted music lovers from all over the world, presenting artists of the highest calibre and showcasing the diversity of genres in jazz music. This is reported by Pretoria News, a partner of TV BRICS.

The festival generates significant revenue and creates jobs for local businesses and artists in the economic and cultural sectors.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak led to the festival being halted in 2020. Now there is hope for its return in the near future, despite the ongoing pandemic.

Music lovers are eagerly awaiting more news about the festival, including line-up and ticket sales. CTIJF has epitomised hospitality and dedication to its fans and looks forward to welcoming them back in the future. Details on the number of stages and hospitality packages have not yet been revealed, but the festival will be happy to welcome guests in any format.
