China showcases achievements in modern optoelectronics

Laser and quantum technologies take centre stage

China hosted the Changchun International Optoelectronic Exposition 2025, a major event in the field of optical technologies. This is reported by the Northeast Asia Today, a partner of TV BRICS.

The event occupied 86,000 square metres, which is 16,000 more than last year. It was attended by 850 companies from seven countries. Among the participants were 186 leading companies in the industry, 14 large corporations and representatives of 61 high-tech start-ups.

It is noted that the exhibition showcased laser and quantum technologies, optical communications, micro- and nano-optics, and biomedical optics.

As noted by Wang Shuwu, Chairman of the exhibition's organising committee, the exhibition showcases cutting-edge developments.

"The Changchun International Optoelectronic Exposition is not just a platform for demonstrating scientific and technological achievements, but also a place for integrating science, education and industry, connecting projects and exchanging personnel," he said.

The event showcased ultra-dense Mini-LED displays and optical components assembled with nanometre precision.
