Experts emphasise importance of cooperation and continuity within SAI20 community

The summit, chaired by Brazil's Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), focused on finalising and approving the SAI20 communique. On the opening day of the summit Girish Chandra Murma, Comptroller and Auditor General of India highlighted the significant contributions and aspirations of SAI20, emphasising the forum's role in promoting good governance and using analytics to make better recommendations. 

He also emphasised the importance of collaboration and continuity within the SAI20 community and highlighted the potential of auditing as a roadmap for future success, especially in addressing climate change and global challenges. This is reported by ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.

SAI20, or Supreme Audit Institution 20, is the engagement group of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) from the countries that make up the G20. The SAI20 is chaired by the SAI of the country holding the G20 presidency, which is currently Brazil, represented by the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU).
