The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry completes its trade mission to India

The Chamber held 365 bilateral business meetings

The Sharjah Exports Development Centre (SEDC), on behalf of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), has concluded its trade mission to India with success. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

Representatives from around 220 Indian businesses engaged in a range of industries, investments, and economic sectors, as well as corporations taking part in the trade mission, attended these sessions.

Mumbai hosted the Sharjah-India Business Forum as part of the trade mission's second phase.

The event's goal was to investigate potential avenues for boosting trade volumes and developing economic cooperation across a range of commerce and industry sectors.

More than 110 Indian businesses operating in Mumbai, representing a variety of industries and investment areas, and representatives of enterprises taking part in the trade mission convened more than 205 bilateral business meetings during the forum, which was organised by the Sharjah Chamber's delegates.

Officials hope that the local business community and operating companies will play a significant role in fostering greater economic cooperation, drawing in joint investments, and increasing the number of Indian and Sharjah-based businesses.

The main topic of discussion during the meeting was developing a collaborative business model or template, the fundamentals of which should be decided upon in the near future through ongoing contact between the two sides. There was also discussion of other suggestions to improve India's and the United Arab Emirates' private sector relations.
