Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a world leader in attracting foreign direct investment

Dubai led the world among 115 cities in the 2023 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Index when it came to FDI capital inflows into projects related to the culture and creative industries (CCI) and the generation of jobs in these fields. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

Dubai was able to draw on 898 announced FDI projects in the cultural and creative industries in 2023, nearly twice as many as the previous year, according to data issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).

The source claims that the emirate enables investors, business owners, and creative individuals to transform their ideas into profitable ventures by streamlining processes. This satisfies the objectives of sustainable growth while also enhancing the emirate's cultural vibrancy.
