The country is still undertaking internal structural reforms to support the economy

South African finance minister Enoch Godongwana, explained, that South Africa is working on four interlinked thematic priorities, which include achieving security and co-operation, promoting economic growth and job creation, artificial intelligence and a long-term climate, nature and energy strategy. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.

In this context, he continued, that the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) provides more opportunities for South African companies to expand and grow their business sphere, as well as for international companies to partner with local ones and to increase their presence on the continent.

Godongwana also assured that developing countries' access to competitive international finance is necessary to ensure a successful transition to the green economy.
