Argentina discusses academic exchange with Russian universities

BRICSLat and XAMA TV plan to cooperate with the TV BRICS International Media Network

A meeting was held at the National University of San Juan in Argentina (UNSJ) dedicated to the conclusion of a content exchange agreement between BRICSLat, the university television channel XAMA TV, and the TV BRICS International Media Network, with the support of the FIPPE Foundation.

“For BRICSLat, this is a very important agreement that will allow us, together with UNSJ TV, to exchange content with the prestigious TV BRICS International Media Network,” said Jorge Lorenzo, Director of BRICSLat and President of FIPPE.

He added that the parties are finalising the details, and the signing of the document is expected in the near future. “This project aligns with our mission to strengthen intercultural dialogue,” he emphasised.

In addition, the meeting addressed the potential for academic exchange with Russian universities and scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The participants confirmed their intention to develop cooperation in the fields of education and media.

“We value steps that contribute to the cultural integration of peoples through dialogue,” said Mariela Miranda, Secretary of Communications at UNSJ.

The agreement is expected to open new opportunities for content promotion and to strengthen ties between Argentina, the BRICS countries, and Russia.
