Editor-in-Chief of TV BRICS held a master class for bloggers of the "New Media Resource Centre"
Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) hosted a special educational programme “Media Influence Formula” organised by the Academy of the "New Media Resource Centre". The event was attended by 70 bloggers – participants of the "New Media Resource Centre", a partner of TV BRICS.
Natalia Chesnokova, Vice-Rector for student admission at RUDN University, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She emphasised the importance of building a digital reputation and the role of media in the modern university.
"Future students are not just applicants. They are the authors of a new media future," she noted.
During the programme, TV BRICS Editor-in-Chief Ksenia Komissarova held a master class on "Professional Journalism. Fundamentals of international media work".
She told the participants about the development of international youth journalism, principles of work of an international journalist and opportunities of the BRICS Bloggers Team project, which unites influencers from BRICS+ countries.
Alina Litvinova, Head of the Influencers Department of the "New Media Resource Centre", noted that it was not just training, but a real immersion into the world of global communications, journalistic responsibility and semantic influence.
"The format itself was incredibly lively: we didn't just listen to the lecture, but tried on the role of journalists at the BRICS summit, got into the task, looked for approaches and tried to understand how to carry Russia's cultural code in the international arena – subtly, honestly, and really deeply. It was not just about how to write news, but how to become the voice of your country in the international field without losing dignity, clarity, and understanding of your mission," Litvinova shared her impressions.
"Ksenia spoke in great detail about BRICS Bloggers Team, where I really want to get to, reminded me about the importance of learning Russian, how important it is to blog in depth and carry the right values. I have made it a rule to put a cultural code into my blog and talk more about it. Ksenia spoke in detail about the fact that nowadays anyone can become an international blogger. I love English very much and became convinced that it is necessary to continue studying it," said Valentina Kravchuk, participant of the programme, a lifestyle blogger.
In early April, new participants from the "New Media Resource Centre" joined the BRICS Bloggers Team media network project. The practical result of this partnership has already been short videos in the BRICS View section, where Influencers share surprising facts about the BRICS countries and partner states.
