China launches new online Dunhuang Studies research library

Dunhuang Studies is a comprehensive science that studies archaeological finds, documents, and cultural relics related to Dunhuang, including the Mogao cave complex. This is reported by Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.

The Dunhuang Studies Research Library is a comprehensive database containing information about Dunhuang, including:

• manuscripts from the Dunhuang Academy collection;

• videos on the history of the oasis;

• e-books about research on the area;

• research results of Chinese and foreign scholars.

The new library will allow scholars to conduct more systematic research and achieve more meaningful results.

Previously, Dunhuang Academy has already set up the "Digital Dunhuang" resource library and manuscript database, providing access to high-quality images of Dunhuang caves.
