Indonesian and UAE Presidents sign agreements on cooperation in key areas
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto in Abu Dhabi. The talks resulted in the adoption of eight bilateral cooperation agreements covering energy, security, trade and sustainable development.
In particular, the two sides signed memoranda of understanding on a plan to build a 100 MW floating solar power plant in Indonesia, on investment in dairy products, on cooperation in counter-terrorism, as well as a letter of intent on nature conservation and other documents.

Subianto and Al Nahyan discussed a number of key international issues and strengthening ties between the UAE and Indonesia, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS. The talks marked an important milestone in the development of the two countries' strategic partnership.
Earlier, the UAE and Indonesian Presidents held a telephone conversation. They talked about relations between Jakarta and Abu Dhabi in the context of developing a comprehensive economic partnership.
