Iran and Russia sign agreement on cooperation in cellular research
A bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of cellular research and gene therapy was signed in Moscow on the sidelines of the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Russia. This is reported by IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad and Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev, who also approved the final document of the meeting, which envisages the development of strategic partnership between the two countries in various economic spheres.
The document envisages joint research, knowledge exchange and expansion of cooperation in the field of advanced medical technologies.
As it was stated, the agreement is aimed at expanding scientific diplomacy and effective utilisation of the potential of specialists from both countries.
