Iran to expand domestic investment and international collaboration in space
The country seeks to position space technologies as a pillar of future economic and scientific development
Iran is actively working to build a national space economy ecosystem, with defined projects in satellite component design, manufacturing, and launch preparation. This is reported by Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
In that regard, Iran plans to increase cooperation and partnership with other countries in the space industry to improve the nation's knowledge and technology. Such an approach would not only contribute to strengthening space infrastructure but would also pave the way for sustainable economic development, the source claims.
Experts emphasised the need to strengthen infrastructure, improve inter-agency cooperation and develop regulatory frameworks for satellite technologies.
Domestic innovations, including advances in lithium-ion battery technology, are key to Iran's strategic advantage in the aerospace industry, according to the industry.
