Iranian scientist unveils innovative method for early cancer detection

This innovative approach employs an intelligent computer diagnostic system

Iranian researcher has introduced an innovative method for the early detection of cancer, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence. This is reported by Pars Today, a partner of TV BRICS.

Simulation results reveal that behaviour of grey wolves and fireflies has inspired the creation of algorithms used in intelligent cancer diagnostic systems. This approach is based on modelling the strategies these animals use to find food or communicate.

Wolves hunt and interact in groups using complex strategic coordination techniques. In the context of cancer diagnosis, scientists have adapted the methods to analyse data from various biomarkers in the body.

Fireflies use bioluminescence to attract mates and communicate with each other. Their light signals obey certain patterns that can be used to create diagnostic systems.

The novel method underscores the potential of artificial intelligence to transform healthcare by mimicking complex natural behaviours, the source claims.
