Moscow hosts Thai gastronomic programme
The aim of the event is to introduce authentic Thai cuisine to the Moscow public and promote cultural exchange
A gastronomic evening with a team of chefs was held at a Moscow restaurant. The event was organised with the support of the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Thai Embassy in Russia.

The programme included six-course dinners. Chef Artem Martirosov opened the evening with a green mango salad with pitahaya powder. Chefs of Honour, Poomipan, Wiboonrat, Watchara presented four authentic Thai dishes:

Tao Jiew Lohn (Fermented Soybean Dip) with crab meat;

stir-fry Pad Woonsen (Thai glass noodle);

aromaric Beef Massaman Curry;

Tom Sapp with shrimp (Tom Saap is a type of northeastern soup which is Similar to Tom Yum soup from the central region but with dried chilies and roasted rice added as well).
The evening was rounded out with dessert – purple mochi in coconut milk.

The event not only showcased culinary craftsmanship but also served as a platform for cultural exchange between Thailand and Russia. Reflecting on the significance of the evening, Ambassador of Thailand to Russia Sasiwat Wongsinsawat remarked:
"The guests were able to try varieties of Thai food, including dishes in North Eastern Thailand Style. I wish to thank all participants today and to our friends of Thailand, who always support our activities in Moscow and in Russia."
