Moscow to host international press conference of KARDO contest-award programme

The organisers of the national stages will be contacted by video link

On 7 April from 13:00 to 14:00 (Moscow time), the BRICS+ Information and Cultural Media Centre will host an international press conference dedicated to the launch of the national phases of the "KARDO" Award in 15 countries. TV BRICS is the international media partner of the award for the second year.

"KARDO" is the first and the only project in Russia in the sphere of street culture and sports. Since its launch, representatives from 125 countries have taken part in it. The initiative unites ambassadors from Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The press conference will be addressed by Gennady Guryanov, First Deputy General Director of the "Russia – the Country of Opportunities" platform, Valentin Rabotenko, Director General of "KARDO", Deputy Director General of the Presidential Grants Foundation Innokenty Dementiev, Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Nikita Anisimov. In addition, foreign "KARDO" ambassadors Gibril Faal (Gambia), Alex Mizurov (the UAE) and John Alexander Castano Bera (Colombia) will be among the speakers.

The organisers will also announce plans for 2025 and present the international programme of the competition.

The live broadcast will be available on the announcement page of the Russian version of TV BRICS website and on the official page of the BRICS+ Information and Cultural Media Centre.
