Trickers from China to take part in the Grand Final of International Award-Competition KARDO

The qualifying national stage of the first and only in the world award for contribution to the development of street culture and sports "KARDO" of the presidential platform "Russia – the Country of Opportunities" took place in China. TV BRICS was international media partner of the event.

"More than 100 participants took part in the national stage of the Award-Competition 'KARDO' in China. The national stage of the Award-Competition "KARDO" was held in two days on June 8 and 9 in the city of Wuxi. Young athletes from 14 to 35 years old from China took part in the competitions in the direction of "Tricking". The winners of the stage had an opportunity to represent the country at the Grand Final of the Award-Competition KARDO VII from August 22 to 25 in Stavropol.

"For me, the Award-Competition 'KARDO' is a platform for the best street athletes from all over the world. We participate to develop each other and share experiences. Together we promote the street sports culture and international relations of our countries," commented Li Xun Shuai, "KARDO"'s ambassador in China.

The event was held in the format of three categories: "Beginners", "Professionals" and "Women". As a result of the competition, the best trickers of the national stage of the Award-Competition KARDO in China were determined.

Adults:

"Professionals" category – Hu Yaowu 

"Advanced' category – Yin Han

"Beginners" category – He Zhijia

Teens:

"Advanced" category – Huang Kijui

"Beginners" category – Meng Xiangxiang

Children:

"Advanced" category – Ding Jiahe

"Beginners" category – Zhang Bowen

Among the organisers of the Award in 2024 are ANO "Russia – Country of Opportunities", All-Russian public organisation of street culture and sports "Streets of Russia", the Government of the Stavropol Territory. Contests are supported by: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Presidential Grants Fund, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the North Caucasus Federal University.
