Squad gears up for tough group stage ahead of continental championship
The Vietnamese women's national team has officially gathered in Ho Chi Minh to start preparations for the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup, scheduled for May. The coaching staff have carefully analysed the playing styles of their group-stage opponents by reviewing their recent matches. Specific strategies are being developed to counter these teams.The team has studied the regional performances of future opponents and developed a game plan to get the best possible results.
During the first training session on 24 March, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang focused on light drills and tactical exercises, as reported by Vietnam News Agency (VNA), a partner of TV BRICS.
Last year, the team gained valuable international experience, and Coach Hoang noted significant improvements in performance.
